He is a Marine Corps infantry veteran with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, an avid hunter of multiple species, and firm believer in the Second Amendment. In the past, Dan has held multiple NRA firearms instructor ratings, has owned a firearms training business, and has shot competitively in 3-gun competitions. He has an Associates Degree in Firearms Technology, is a Glock Certified Armorer, and an American Gunsmithing Institute Certified Firearms Appraiser and Law Enforcement Armorer.
